The second concert cycle at 7th Zagreb Guitar Festival will be dedicated to EuroStrings Artists, prominent young guitarists who are laureates of the prestigious European guitar festivals currently gathered around a first European classical guitar network – EuroStrings.
Ozberk Mirac Sarigul, Francisco Luis, Bianka Szalaty and Jack Hancher will play open-air concerts on August 28th and August 29th in the Botanical garden in Zagreb. The first concert will be held on Saturday, August 28th at 5 PM (CET) at Izložbeni pavilion in Botanical garden, and will feature Ozberk Sarigul and Francisco Luis. In 2018, the Turkish guitarist Ozberk Mirac Sarigul was selected for the prestigious 8th Donizetti Classical Music Awards for ‘Under 18, Musician of the Year’ in Turkey. He is also the winner of the last years’ Sarajevo Guitar Festival. Portuguese rising star, guitarist Francisco Luis has many prizes at various international competitions, including the first prize at Harmonia Cordis International Guitar Competition in 2020.

The second concert will be held a day later, on Sunday 29th at noon. Polish guitarist Bianka Szalaty, also the laureate of the International Guitar Festival Nuertingen will perform alongside Jack Hancher, who won last year’s Zagreb Guitar Festival competition.
