Antonija Škorput

Antonija Škorput was born in 1992 in Split. She started playing the guitar at the Joseph Hatze School of Music, where she finished elementary and middle music school in the class of prof. Anđela Jerkunica Strukan.

She has performed in many concerts and music competitions so far. She has won four 1 st prizes in regional competitions as well as three 3 rd and one 2 nd prizes in national competitions. In 2006 she won the absolute 1 st prize at the international competition “Distant Chords”, in 2009 two 2 nd prizes at the international competitions in Split and Gorizia, in 2010 the 1 st prize, and the year after the 2 nd prize at the international competition “Omiš Guitar Festival”.

She completed her guitar studies at the Art Academy in Split in the class of prof. Maroje Brčić.
